we are going recipe crazy right now! anyways here is one of my favorite recipes for New Years. It's a cookie recipe and literally I eat these so fast! I'm never quite sure what to make for New Years cuz it's after Christmas but before spring so I never know what to bring but these are perfect ( and delicious) :))

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 cup mild molasses
1/2 cup hot water
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Frosting

4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup  softened butter
2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon peel
4 to 6 tablespoons milk
Freshly grated lemon peel, if desired

Directions

Heat oven to 375°F. Combine sugar, 1/2 cup butter and egg in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well mixed. Add molasses and water. Beat until well mixed. Reduce speed to low; add all remaining cookie ingredients. Beat until well mixed. (Mixture will resemble heavy cake batter.)

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool completely.

Combine powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter and lemon peel in small bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often and gradually adding enough milk for desired frosting consistency. Frost cooled cookies. Sprinkle with lemon peel, if desired.

It seems kind of hard but trust me these are so amazing and the perfect thing to bring to any celebration :)

New year cupcake

It's  2o'clock in the mornin and I can sleep so I've divided to o this..  Here is a New Years cupcake recipe !

 Ingredients
150g caster sugar
150g butter
140 self-raising flour
10g cornflour
3 medium eggs
30ml milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Gold chocolate
For the reduced-sugar buttercream
240ml milk
60g plain flour
Pinch of salt
110g vegetable fat such as Trex
110g unsalted butter
220g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
You will also need:

12 black cupcake cases
Piping bag
Wilton 1M nozzle

Method:
Preheat your oven to 160°C/320°F/Gas Mark 3.
Line the baking tray with cases. Beat the sugar, butter and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
Add 1 egg, 1/3 of the flour and a splash of milk and beat until just combined. Repeat until all the ingredients are combined. Divide the batter between the 12 cases (use an ice cream scoop to get even amounts) and bake for 25-30 minutes depending on your oven. Remove and cool in the tins for 10 minutes before moving to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.

Lol ik it's kinda challenging bit it's worth it .. :p. - kim

New year outfits!

here are some simple New Years Eve outfit ideas!! Hope you enjoy:)
if you use one of the ideas send it to our instagrams: makalal04 and kimberlyepee

This is one of the more casual outfits and great if you don't want to go through much trouble (this took me about five minutes to find the skirt, shirt, and beanie hidden in my closet) super easy and I think it's pretty cute as long as you're not going anywhere too fancy:) The shirt is from Forever 21 and the skirt and beanie are from Brandy Melville :)

so this is actually what I'm wearing :) and I think it's really nice and simple without being to fancy shmancy. The dress is from Brandy Melville and I love it bunchieees

ummm... So for hair I just kept it down and put in tiny earrings from claires (sorry you can't really see them) and NO MAKEUP oh and you can't see in the pic but I painted my nails red with gold crackle fireworks! :)

So that's all I came up with cuz I did this really fast and it's already New Years Eve here!! YAY
Have fun guys! I would love to see pics of what you guys plan on wearing (yes guys too :))
anyways I hope this helped and Happy New Years Eve!!!!!!!!! :) Love you guys :*
